Address and contact details
The FHNW collects mandatory address and contact data (in accordance with the FHNW’s address data governance) when someone registers for a degree or continuing education programme. This data includes:
Title, first name, surname, date of birth, street & no., postcode, postal town, country, social insurance number (Swiss nationals), nationality, place of origin (Swiss nationals), billing address, correspondence address, telephone number and email address. This mandatory data is required for the administration of degree and continuing education programmes.
Marketing
During and after completion of the programme, the FHNW will inform you about its events and continuing education offers. You can unsubscribe at any time to the respective newsletter. Your contact data (last name, first name, email and course of study) will be retained for marketing purposes until you request its deletion.
Cloud services
Your data can be processed by order processors, for example, by cloud providers used by the FHNW. We ensure that an appropriate protection level is in place and that the data is only processed and stored in Switzerland or EU/EFTA/EEA countries.
